An appeal has been launched after six chickens were killed by a dog off the lead in a Bangor country park. The attack happened on Monday in the Vaynol Park area.

A North Wales Police rural appeal said: "We are appealing for information following a livestock attack in the Vaynol Park area of Bangor. Six chickens were killed by a black dog, possibly of a spaniel breed, which was loose and off a lead on the victim’s land at 4.40pm on Monday, August 28th.
