Support offered after death at NFYFC AGM in Blackpool

Young farmers are being urged to ask for help after the death of a young farmer at the weekend.
Sam Davis, a 25-year-old young farmer from Llangedwyn, tragically died in Blackpool at the weekend (April 30-May 2).
The annual annual general meeting of the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs (NFYFC) was taking place.
Sam was a member of Montgomery Young Farmers Club.
On its Facebook page, the club posted: "Montgomery YFC are heartbroken to hear of the tragic loss of one of our members over the weekend.
“We understand that this devastating news will be having a huge impact across the YFC community and our thoughts are with family, friends and all those affected.
“We are doing our utmost to support our members through this difficult time.
"Please remember that you are not alone, and YFC is here to support you. Please reach out if you are struggling.
“If you can't speak to family or friends, contact an organisation who will listen and can offer support.”
The club then listed contact details of various organisations that help with mental health matters.
NFYFC did the same, writing on its Facebook page: "NFYFC is aware that YFC members may be affected by news reports about the tragic loss of a YFC member over the bank holiday weekend.
"YFC is here to support you. Please reach out if you have been affected by these reports.
"If you are struggling right now, please remember you are not alone. Support is just a call away.
"If you can't speak to family or friends, contact an organisation who will listen and can offer help."
