A police officer looked like she was being abducted by aliens, as Thames Valley Police practiced with its fleet of drones.
The Thames Valley Police rural crime taskforce is equipped with a fleet of drones to assist with capturing evidence and locating suspects around the county.
Drones are unmanned aircraft that are controlled remotely – they are more formally known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s) or unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).
Sharing images of officers using the drones, a spokesperson explained that the team had recently undertaken practice with the technology.
