There have been three incidents of theft of used oil from three different public houses in the last few weeks. If you are a pub or restaurant owner and store oil outside, please make sure that you have it secured and you have taken all necessary precautions for example security lights, locks, alarms and CCTV.

Thefts have been reported from public houses in:

Levens on 28/04/2022 log 85 of 28 April.

Strawberry Bank log CP-20220428- 0158 Strawberry Bank. In the area of Cartmel

Crooklands on 1/4/22 log 178 of 1 April

The suspects have been travelling in a white transit van.
