A MAN has received a prison sentence for making threats to kill in a Test Valley village.
Jarl Farrant was sent to prison for three months but the sentence has been suspended for 12 months by magistrates.
Farrant, 27, threatened Graham Wigmore in King’s Somborne on February 11 this year whilst also in possession of a flick knife, a court heard. He admitted both charges.
His address in court was given as Polmont near Falkirk in Scotland.
The magistrates also imposed a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 20 days. Farrant must also pay a £95 victim surcharge and £40 costs.
