Three arrested as part of rural crime operation

Three men have been arrested after a van was stopped as part of an operation run by Wiltshire Police’s Rural Crime Team.

At 9.30pm on Friday (17/11), officers stopped a van at the Buck BP Garage on the A303 near Andover.

A quad bike, motocross bike and a variety of tools were found in the vehicle which were later found to have been stolen from a farm near Tiverton in Devon.

The men in the van, one aged 19 and two aged 21, from Hertfordshire, were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
