Tractor stolen and set on fire at a farm in Verwood

A tractor was stolen and destroyed in a fire in Verwood for the second time in a week.

The tractor was stolen from the Hurn Court Lane in the Hurn area between 5pm on Friday, February 9, and 7am on Saturday, February 10.

Then on the morning of the Saturday, it was reported the tractor had been found burnt out at a farm in Verwood.

The tractor's fuel bowser was missing.

Officers are investigating the theft and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

On Sunday, February 11, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue was mobilised to another tractor fire in Cranborne.
