Police have seized air rifles, knives, drugs and bats from a car after discovering dead game animals inside.
Two men have also been arrested for poaching offences.
On Monday, officers in the south of the county stopped a vehicle that they believed to be suspicious as it was travelling in an area of protected wildlife.
A search of the van found air rifles, other weapons, drugs and evidence of poaching in the way of dead game.
Two men were arrested for poaching offences, possession of offensive weapons, possession of bladed articles and possession of class A and B drugs.
A police spokesperson said on Tuesday: "Yesterday, South Rural Taskforce stopped a vehicle in suspicious circumstances around an area of protected wildlife.
"Officers stopped the vehicle and after a proactive search have located air rifles, weapons, drugs and evidence of poaching – dead game.
"Two males arrested for poaching offences, possession of offensive weapons, possession of bladed articles and possession of class A and class B drugs.
