A crowdfunding appeal has been set up after louts trashed the scene in 'wanton vandalism'

Vandals have destroyed a conservation project at a beauty spot - prompting a police investigation in Birmingham. A crowdfunding page was set up to replace ruined equipment and a polytunnel.

Yobs struck at Pitt's Wood in Quinton over the weekend, leaving locals appalled. Local councillor Sam Forsyth said she was "utterly disgusted by this wanton vandalism." She said "we won't let these dreadful acts ruin our precious ancient woodland."
