A Torquay fly-tipper has been ordered to clear up dumped waste in Devon field - or he'll end up in jail.

Vitor Da Silva, 54, of Barton Road, Torquay, spent 20 months dumping waste on a field.

Vitor Da Silva, 54, of Barton Road, Torquay was caught by the Environment Agency after dumping vehicles, furniture, white goods, gas bottles and more on a field in Daccombe, near Newton Abbot.

He has has now been given three months to clear up his mess.

Da Silva pleaded guilty to illegally dumping waste with no environmental permit between January 2019 and August 2020 at Plymouth Magistrates Court on February 10.
