North Wales Police have issued advice to quad bike owners following attempted thefts in Pen-Y-Cae, Llangollen and Bala.

North Wales police rural crime team have advised residents living in rural areas to secure valuable possessions including quad bikes, trailers and high value tools.

PC Dave Allen shared via social media video that there was an attempted quad bike theft in the Pen Y Cae area of Wrexham on Thursday night, February 16.

PC Allen said: "If you have a quad bike make sure it's locked up and report any suspicious behaviour to the police."
