North Wales Police are appealing after a horse has been injured with what appears to be a knife in Wrexham.
NWP's Rural Crime team have made an appeal after an apparent series of incidents at a field on Plas Bennion Road in Pen-y-cae.
Some of the alleged incidents that have taken place include dogs being let loose, gates being left open allowing livestock to leave and even reports of people defecating.
Yet police have now made an appeal after the 'worst scenario' has seen a horse 'slashed' by what police believe to be a knife.
More recently, a horse has also had its fly mask cut off.
On discussing the recent incidents, a Rural Crime team spokesperson said: "We've had quite a few problems here of late, with all sorts of issues.
