An appeal has been launched for anonymous information on rural crime in Cumbria by charity Crimestoppers.

SHOCKING figures reveal more quad bikes were stolen in Cumbria last year than anywhere else in the country.

Eden police said: “We have received information about an unlawful waste disposal site at a farm in the Alston area. We conducted a joint visit with Environment Agency and Eden District Council who will lead this investigation.
