Badger culling is a Defra initiative, licensed by Natural England, to carry out targeted culls in selected rural areas in an attempt to tackle Bovine Tuberculosis (TB).

A Derbyshire man has been ordered to pay out over £24,000 for illegally burning waste on his farm without an environmental permit.

Police are asking owners to ensure their dogs are under control near livestock, following an incident in which two lambs were killed.

Derbyshire police are now hunting for the owner of the dog and are asking anyone who witnessed what happened or who has information about the incident to contact them.
