North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information about an incident of livestock worrying which took place near Harrogate on Thursday 24 March 2022.

The incident happened on land beside a public footpath below the ruins of John of Gaunt’s castle nnear Beaver Dyke Reservoir, in an area known as Haverah Park near Harrogate.

As we near the end of lambing season, with young lambs out in the fields, dog owners are being reminded to keep their animals under control around sheep and other livestock.
