Mum's shock at finding headless deer on Cornwall beach while enjoying family walk
The mum from Falmouth said: "I came across a headless deer washed up on Portreath beach on a family beach trip and it [seems] unexplainable. It was relatively fresh as it had blood coming from the neck and no sign of decomposition. As you can imagine the kids were frightened and nobody seemed to know what to do with it."

Horrifying illegal poaching weapons found along River Trent
Cruel and dangerous weapons used to trap fish have been discovered along the River Trent in Burton. Water bailiff John Anderson said the traps are so cruel they maim and kill anything they catch. They also often end up catching waterfowl too as they stumble across them on river banks.
