Police discovered farming equipment stolen from a site near Thame in London, the force revealed yesterday (5 September).

The Thames Valley Police rural crime taskforce has been out on hare coursing patrols this weekend.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We had a report of a window being smashed in the main tower/gatehouse of the site on Thursday (September 1).

Thames Valley Police posted on their social media page that PC Gibson from the Rural Crime Taskforce located the truck in Newbury.

The arrest occurred on the morning of August 18 by the TVP rural crime taskforce.

Investigating officer, PC Colin Boyes, based in the Rural Crime Taskforce, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who recognises the man in this image to please get in touch, as he may have vital information about the burglary.

Thames Valley Police officers from the Rural Crime Taskforce were patrolling the area when they spotted Thompson.
