Wiltshire raptor persecution case: Archie Watson sentenced
In England’s largest raptor persecution case, Archie Watson, 21, of Dragon Lane, Manningford Bruce, Pewsey pleaded guilty to possession of dead birds - three red kites, five buzzards and a herring or black-backed gull - contrary to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.

Anti-social behaviour putting Wiltshire farmers and livestock at risk
Local farmers have pleaded for people to respect the countryside after months of anti-social behaviour which has put them and their livestock at risk. Issues include electric fences being turned off, farm gates left open or shut when there have been clear signs and signs removed that warn of ‘bull in field’.

Wiltshire farmer's plea after calves put in danger by drug-takers
Gretchen Winter, of Netherstreet Farm, has been plagued by a series of unexplained and dangerous episodes caused by people walking on land at Roundway, where her herd of Galloway cattle are currently grazing.
