A lucky horse owner will be able to transport their animal again after Banbury police recovered their stolen trailer.

North Yorkshire Fire Service's animal rescue crew from Scarborough and Malton were sent to help the horse who had fallen in his field at Hutton Buscel, Scarborough on Saturday lunchtime.

Police have rallied together and been pulling over vehicles suspected of being involved in pony and trap racing after receiving intelligence that the disruptive practice would be returning today.
