Cheshire Constabulary's Rural Crime Team continue to urge walkers to keep dogs on leads
Officers from the Rural Crime Team are warning that despite the advice being given to keep dogs on leads there are still cases of livestock worrying offences, with family dogs who have never done this before suddenly bolting and chasing sheep, which in some cases they spotted three fields away.

Second World War explosives found near Chester as bomb squad called
PC Ashley Tether, of the Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team, posted on Facebook: "As well as being part of the Rural Crime Team, myself, PC Moss and PC Stordy are also part of the Licensed Search Team for Cheshire Police . As a result, we get called to various searches across Cheshire and across the UK supporting other police forces as needed.

Man rang police demanding they return his van used for fly tipping
As Fagan was the registered keeper of the vehicle, under the law he is treated as knowingly causing the waste to be deposited, even if he knew nothing about it. In 2020, officers from the rural crime team were first called to reports of fly-tipping on Frodsham marshes in Cheshire.
