Residents asked to close windows and doors for overturned tanker recovery in Eaglesfield
Residents in the areas of Paddle Primary School, Brandlingill, Low Lorton, High Lorton, Littlethwaite area, are being asked by police to keep their windows and doors closed, as a precaution, for the next four hours, or until a further police issued updated is released. This could be in the early hours.

Theft of Oil In Cumbria
There have been three incidents of theft of used oil from three different public houses in the last few weeks. If you are a pub or restaurant owner and store oil outside, please make sure that you have it secured and you have taken all necessary precautions for example security lights, locks, alarms and CCTV.
