Young farmers in Cumbria are to be offered the opportunity to play a key role in helping to keep farming and rural communities safe.

Our proactive officers seized this bike that was being used on the cycle path under the Phoenix Bridge, Cleator Moor on Friday 6th May.

Residents in the areas of Paddle Primary School, Brandlingill, Low Lorton, High Lorton, Littlethwaite area, are being asked by police to keep their windows and doors closed, as a precaution, for the next four hours, or until a further police issued updated is released. This could be in the early hours.
