Two stolen horse boxes have been recovered by police.

The pump was taken from Sharper's Cor, a track off Highbridge Gravel Drove, on either Friday, June 3, or Saturday, June 4.

Dorset Police's Rural Crime Team and Neighbourhood Patrol carried out a reinforced stop of the vehicle by the A350 turn off for Shaftesbury and Poole.

Rural Crime Taskforce Inspector, Stuart Hutchings, said: “The aim is a multi-team operation focusing on tackling plant theft, farm theft, trailers, caravans, and horse boxes that are being stolen.

Our proactive officers seized this bike that was being used on the cycle path under the Phoenix Bridge, Cleator Moor on Friday 6th May.
